First, I've been asked several times over the past few months about this, so I just making a general statement in regards to AF Ball pictures. To get your pictures, you must contact SSgt Dow at the 389th. She has the pictures and you will have to make arrangements to pick them up from her at the squadron. Her direct line is 828-2592. Also, if you have any issues with your pictures, the photographer is Amanda Duffala. The only way to contact her is through email at amandamhanna@gmail.com. There is a non-ESC karaoke social this Sunday night at the Stockyard in town. With kids off Monday, and most husbands off as well, it could be a fun time, and a great way to socialize off base for couples stationed here. Most are meeting up at 8pm and karaoke starts at 9pm. Come out and have some fun! The Stockyard is located behind Paul's - 185 S 2nd St E. Most park in the lot across from Jackson's Candy and walk over.

Do you have a hidden talent? What about an obvious one? Here's an opportunity to show off your skills and help the Air Force Assistance Fund.
What: A base-wide talent show fundraiser for the four affiliates of the Air Force Assistance Fund (AFAF) to help meet the needs of past and present Air Force personnel along with their families.
Who: Registration is open to all base personnel and their dependents and limited to the first 30 complete applications. No age min/max.
When: Friday, 01 March at 6:30pm
Where: Base Theater
Why: These charities take the donations and by stretching the value of each dollar, assist our extended/adopted family members in ways that would be impossible to do on our own. Whether it's providing housing to surviving spouses, granting an interest-free emergency loan to help a single parent pay the heating bill or assisting in the purchase of a much-needed prosthetic, the AFAF gives peace-of-mind to our families and friends.
Cost: Admission to the show is FREE, however donations will be accepted. See attachment for entry fee. 100% of the entry and admission proceeds go directly to the AFAF.
How: To register, fill out the attached entry and media release forms then deliver in a sealed envelope with check or cash to the Airman and Family Readiness Center. FORMS AND FEES ARE DUE BY 11:00AM ON FRIDAY, 22 FEBRUARY 2013.

1st Place: $75 gift card and family 4-pk day passes to Roaring Springs Water Park
2nd Place: $50 gift card to mystery restaurant or store
3rd Place: $25 gift card to mystery restaurant or store

How The AFAF Helped Me: True Story from a Gunfighter:
"Member had his identity stolen in July 2012, and his bank account was wiped out. He went to the AFRC and applied for an Air Force Aid Society loan for $1600 to cover his household expenses until the bank situation was resolved. The loan covered his mortgage and associated utility bills."
