There is talk of a free Military Night at the Boise Zoo Sunday from 5:30-8:30pm as well.

You should have also gotten the evite invitation to our ESC Back to School BBQ & Pool Party, Sunday, August 5th from 3-8pm.  Please pass along or forward the link or evite to every enlisted spouse you know!  We would love to see some new faces and families at this event before school starts up and we get busy!!  Click here for the link

Our next meeting is two days later at the base chapel, August 7th at 6:30pm.  We will be rallying our volunteers for the AF Appreciation Day Float!!  Bring your creative ideas and skills to help the ESC out!

Heart Link & FSS Weekly

Good morning everyone!  I know we talk about Heart Link a lot in our emails, but that is because we really feel it's important for every spouse that comes to MHAFB to try to attend one ASAP.  They are only offered up once a quarter, and cancelling them due to lack of attendance is something that should never occur, especially during a high PCS season.  As ESC members, volunteers, associates, we are asking all of you to please promote this wonderful program by getting the word out, or even offering your time to watch someone's child or children so they are able to attend.  For those of you that have gone, you know that it's almost a "must do" while stationed here, and we want to give the new arrivals, as well as some that just haven't had the chance to attend since moving here to have the opportunity to do so.  Go to our FB page and share the Heart Link photo to your page or group.  It's important to spread the word.  Even print out the info and give it to that neighbor spouse you just met that moved in.  Keep in mind, it's also a requirement to become a Key Spouse for your spouse's squadron.

Heart Link is Friday, August 3rd from 8:30am- 2pm at the Gunfighter Club.  Registration is required by calling the Airman & Family Readiness Center at 828-2458.

A huge thank you to all!  We will also be having our Family BBQ/Pool Party the afternoon of Sunday, August 5th, so keep that date clear for a great time at Richard Aguirre Park!

The next Heart Link is August 3rd from 8:30am-2pm.  If you are a new spouse or just new to MHAFB, this is a great opportunity to meet other spouses, learn about the services and programs here at the base, as well as give you more information about the base itself and what it means to be an Air Force spouse!  You are the backbone of our base community, so sign up for this great event by calling the Airman & Family Readiness Center at 828-2458.  If you are looking to become a Key Spouse for your squadron, this is a prerequisite, so sign up today!

The Mountain Home ESC is planning a BBQ & Pool Party at Richard Aguirre Park on the afternoon of Sunday, August 5th!!!  Members and nonmembers welcome!  Details to come so mark your calendars!!!   The Enlisted Spouses club is for anyone that is a spouse of a retired or active military member!  Plan on making it a great playdate with food, fun, swimming and more!  Pass along the info to your military spouse friends and lets make this the biggest summer bash before school starts up!!
