Key Spouse Initial Training is being held Tuesday, May 1st.  They will have two different session for your convenience:   0900-1230 & 5:00-8:30  (If you’d like to bring your dinner with, please do.  Also, please use the side door to the classroom – the front door will be locked) (Also, remember there is no child care available for either session, we do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.)  **** Please remember if you are interested in being Key Spouses you MUST talk to the Commander or First Sgt prior to attending training.  This way command knows who wants to represent the squadron.  The appointment letter can come later.  To sign up for Heart Link or Key Spouse Initial Training, call the A&FRC at 828-2458.

Subject: Operation Military Kids Upcoming Events
Hi! I just wanted to be sure you were aware of the upcoming events. If you are interested let me know and I will send you the applications. I was hoping you could send this out to any contacts you think might be interested.

We are having the teen retreat in Ponderosa Park McCall. We will be having a variety of leadership activities provided by the youth extensions services interns. We will be hiking, zumba, photography, arts and crafts, face painting, improv, team building games, and a teen hang. We will be having a MOSS Center science graduate student also taking us on a hike and teaching about the environment.

The teens are able to interact with each other and have a great time. Transportation is provided from Boise and doesn't cost anything. We will be sleeping in cabins with showers provided.

We are also looking for camp counselors. We have camp counselor training June 16 and July 14 in Boise. We will be then taking the counselors to assist us at the family camp July 27-29 in Ketchum. We would love to have your children participate in this program if they are interested.

Your family is invited to attend family camp July 27-29 in Ketchum. We do events like fishing, archery, arts and crafts, hiking, and many other events. The entire family attends this camp. It is free for children and $40 for adults.

The Eastern Idaho camp is a survival camp. We will be staying at lava hot springs and doing activites such as zip line, fishing, photography, gps, swimming at hot pool, floating the river, frisbee golf, and other games. Transportation will be from Idaho Falls and Pocatello. It is June 6-8.

I look forward to hearing from you.
thanks
